Reprocessing Utility

A well-known Massachusetts manufacturer is seeking a Reprocessing Utility Tech.

  • Safely operate a fork truck and or pallet jack (manual and electric) bringing materials to and from the warehouse
  • Operate overhead hoists and lift carts to handle and package finished goods
  • Read and interpret reprocessing paper work including, but not limited to, Work ID, Sales Orders, Reprocessing Notes
  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Conduct a shift exchange with incoming shift relief, explaining issues during shift, discuss upcoming orders
  • Perform pre-operation checklist to ensure safety of equipment
  • Accurately weighs and records material
  • Load and unload from gaylord's TBG material and or virgin blocks onto reclaim table and or then onto conveyor belt that moves material to the guillotine
  • Operator must be diligent with visual inspection of material when unloading gaylords and loading belt
  • Start up and operate equipment, including guillotine knife and blender, using established parameters
  • Operator must be diligent with visual inspection of material by monitoring particle size of granules and cleanliness of regrind
  • Observes machine to detect clogged blades and hopper
  • Disassemble/reassemble and dean equipment (including blades, screen, cradle, and bin) using lock-out tag out procedures and other safety precautions
  • Make changes and adjustments to machinery with little or no supervision (e.g. transition from material to material)
  • Follow all safety and lock-out procedures associated with the equipment and its operation
  • Prepare skids, kegs for return to warehouse. Ensuring that al! products are packaged as per specification with correct packaging material, labels and details
  • Material handling and inventory control using barcode scanner
  • Attend daily shift meeting
  • May be required to train other Operators
  • Data entry into computer to include tracking of machine time, total regrind per shift, etc. May be required to learn basic machine operator skills


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to read and write simple correspondence/instructions/memos
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Basic knowledge of computers is desired
  • Should be mechanically inclined

Pay Rate:

  • Great starting pay (based on experience)


  • 1st Shift | Mon-Fri | 7:00am-3:00pm
  • Overtime may required (based on business needs)
